Research Interests

I am interested in the evolutionary dynamics of adaptation, species formation, and hybridization. In particular, I study how genomic structural variation contributes to adaptation and how the genetic architecture of reproductive isolation can affect genome differentiation during early and advanced stages of speciation. I am further interested in how the genomic outcomes of gene flow among populations or introgression in hybrid zones might be indicative of the processes involved in adaptation or speciation. I combine genomic data analysis, statistical modeling, and computer simulations for my research.
