Research Interests

I am interested in the evolutionary dynamics of adaptation, species formation, and hybridization, and their genomic foundations and consequences. Specifically, I study (1) how genomic structural changes are involved in adaptation and (2) how the genetic architecture of reproductive isolation can affect genome differentiation during early and advanced stages of speciation. I am further interested in understanding to what extent the genetic architecture of adaptation and speciation can be inferred from differences in gene flow along the genome. I use a combination of genomic and phenotypic data analysis, statistical modeling, and computer simulations for my research.
